English Woodland Moisturising Serum

A deeply nourishing luxury moisturising serum with a light silky texture for face and hands. The formula contains four naturally active anti-ageing botanicals sourced from the heart of the English woodlands. Suitable for all skin types.

Anti-ageing:

  • Due to the effect of Aescin which slows the breakdown of hyaluronic acid in the skin
  • Fibroblast contraction which can reduce the appearance of wrinkles
  • Powerful anti-oxidant and free radical scavenger

The secret lies in the woods...

Horse Chestnut: Contains natural anti-inflammatory saponins. Protects skin prone to thread veins due to the presence of Aescin.

Hawthorn Extract: A powerful synergistic antioxidant system is produced from the presence of natural phenolic compounds that work in combination with Horse Chestnut and Vitamin E.

Rosehip Oil: Naturally rich in essential fatty acids, Omega 3, Omega 6 and Omega 9, Pro-vitamin A, Vitamin E.

Juniper Berry Oil: Acts as a natural skin toner and reduces the appearance of skin blemishes.

I've only used this a few times so far, but on first impressions, it's beautiful. My sensitive skin hasn't complained a bit, and it's started to smooth out some of the bumpy areas I had already. I've now bought my second pot of this wonderful serum cream. A little goes a long way. It really makes a huge difference to my skin: there is a soft sheen to a normally dry, dull skin and the spider veins look less red. I don't use under foundation however as it can be a bit greasy as I always moisturise after using.

It's too soon to say whether this beats my usual serum but it seems to lock in moisture so it probably is. It arrived swiftly. The container looks very pretty and no plastic. A little goes a long way. I'm updating this review. It does best my usual serum. 😊
